After years of participating in and leading home Bible studies, Dan Alsdurf saw an opportunity to bring Bible study to his community through the local radio station.
His goal was to provide an on-air Bible study that members in the community could listen to and interact with through phone calls and emails. Another result was that participants on the panel also experienced a sense of community.
The Community Radio Bible Study began broadcasting in December of 2006. Since that time, the number of panelists has grown. Recently they began taping the weekly program to be shown on local cable TV.
The mission of Interactive Ministry is to provide an on-air community Bible study, as well as, information, training, and mentorship for those interested in starting a similar ministry in their local area.
